At several points over the course of the year, the studio offers various theatre, film and television professionals the opportunity to see our students. In these sessions, actors are allowed to work one-on-one with current and active figures in the industry, such as casting directors, directors and agents. The objective of these Mondays is to advance our actors’ potential to work in this highly competitive market.
Recent Guest Casting Director: Judy Bowman
Judy focuses her work on theater and film but really does it all. She is known as a Casting Director who is young, hip, and works on edgy films and theater. Because of her work in low-budget theater, she has a tremendous work ethic, and digs deep to find the right people.

THEATRE: O GURU GURU GURU…(Humana Festival), Danai Gurira’s THE CONVERT(Woolly Mammoth Theatre Co), THE SPIRITS OF EXIT 11(Theater Row), THE MAN UNDER(59e59), THE LAST SEDER(Theater Three NYC), THE MOTHERFUCKER WITH THE HAT(San Francisco Playhouse),), & BILLY & RAY(producer, Falcon Theatre LA).
These classes are open to TSS actors who have had sufficient training to be auditioning in the business. A teacher recommendation is required.
