Eliza Ladd

A performer, composer, writer, director, and teacher, Eliza has performed original work in NYC at PS122, Dixon Place, Dia Downtown, Movement Research, the Knitting Factory, and The Joyce Soho. Her contemporary musical, Elephants and Gold premiered at the Berkshire Fringe Festival and is in further development for a NYC premiere at La Mama in 2012. She teaches at Shakespeare & Company, Kingsborough Community College and Marymount Manhattan College. She works with special needs and gifted students in the NYC Public School system and is a recipient of a Puffin Foundation grant. She holds an MFA in Theater: Contemporary Performance from Naropa University and a BA in Comparative Religion from Harvard University.
