Miriam Kulick

miriamMiriam Kulick is originally from New York City and has performed in numerous theatre, television, film, and dance venues, both in NY and in South Florida. She served as vice-president of The Women’s Theatre Project and co-founder/producer of Square Peg Productions, where she received the New Times Best of Miami award for best actress in Three Angels Dancing on a Needle. Three Angels was also part of the Pretentious Festival at The Brick Theater in New York City. Miriam wrote, acted, and produced her solo show, Open Hearts, which played at the DC Capital Fringe, Off-Broadway’s Theatre Row, under the direction of Obie-award winner, Gretchen Cryer, and at the Cherry Lane as part of the AFO Festival. An alumni of T. Schreiber, Miriam’s teaching has been greatly influenced by Gloria Maddox, Terry Schreiber, and Lynn Singer. She has been on the faculty of The Acting School of South Florida for over fifteen years and has created her own brand of Theme-Based and Communication Workshops for non-actors and at-risk teens. Recently Miriam has directed and acted in numerous staged readings in NYC, her latest performance was with Eagle Project at Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
