Winter Conservatory
So many talented actors get stuck at the mid-point their careers, unable to break through to the next level. The work begins to feel like a grind, or you feel burnt out and forget why you love the craft in the first place.
This 13-week intensive is designed for intermediate and advanced actors who want to reach the next phase of your career, whether that’s securing an agent, transitioning to film, or perfecting your self-tape. Taught by our extraordinary faculty with a range of expertise, students will focus on craft-based work, including a Strasberg session, two scene studies, on-camera acting, commercial acting, auditioning, screen writing, voice and movement, and self-tape.
Designed with the working actor in mind, this intensive will push you to become the best version of your creative self, both professionally and craft-wise. It will conclude with industry sessions with casting directors, managers, and agents, giving you the opportunity to showcase your work, receive feedback and advance your career.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Tommy Buck
Tommy Buck is best known for his work on the Emmy nominated HBO series The Deuce. He has performed principal roles on Gotham, Law & Order: SVU, Ray Donovan and the Emmy Award winning The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Tommy is a graduate of The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA), and has worked with renowned coaches and teachers such as Bob Krakower, Jon Shear, Peter Jensen and Terry Schreiber.
Some of Tommy's theater credits include Irondale Theater's Shakespeare Sonnets with Ralph Fiennes, T.Schreiber's The Pillowman, La Mama's Die: Roll to Proceed and T.Schreiber Studio’s Innovative Theater Award winning production of Balm in Gilead.
His experiences in the theater inspired him to write, direct, and star in the viral Mockumentary Abandon All Hope.
Tommy's most recent film project The Last Thing Mary Saw made huge waves at Fantasia Fest and premiered on Shudder earlier this year. Tommy is also featured in the AMC series Kevin Can F Himself.
Peter JensenArtistic Director
Prior to joining T. Schreiber as Artistic Director, Peter Jensen was a member of the Core Faculty of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and served as the 3rd year Academy Company Director. Recently Peter directed Danni, official selection in 24 film festivals around the world, garnering two wins for best film, one best actress and two best actress nominations for Jeana Reilly (TSS alum). Peter is currently in pre-production for the film The Passion. For the stage, he directed Junshin Soga (TSS alum) in One Fine Day, nominated for the 2017 New York Innovative Theatre award for best original play, and In Dreams. Other New York directing credits include the premieres of John Patrick Shanley’s Poison and Jack Karp’s Incendiary Agents at Nylon Fusion, and The Glass Menagerie at the Sanford Meisner Theatre. Regionally, he directed Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, earning an excellent review in the New Orleans Times Picayune (with TSS alums Jamie Neumann and Josh Sienkiewicz), and Biloxi Blues in Charleston, SC. Directing credits at T. Schreiber include Balm in Gilead winner of the 2011 NYIT Award for Outstanding Production, Hot L Baltimore, nominated for NYIT Outstanding Production, The Mother Fucker with The Hat, The Pillowman, Lobby Hero, Joking Apart, Hurlyburly, A Taste of Honey, Marvin’s Room, You Can’t Take It With You, The Real Inspector Hound, The Actor’s Nightmare, Fifth of July, and Doubt.
Rivka Rivera
Rivka Rivera (she/her) is a playwright and filmmaker based in New York City, strongly focusing on stories that delve into cultural and personal identities whose work has been featured at Irondale Theater, HB Studios, and the Straz Center. Her play, THE MOURNERS, centered around a family during Hurricane Maria, was selected for Carnegie Mellon’s development incubator, ColLABo, and was a semi-finalist for the Royal Court Theater. Rivka has been recognized as a filmmaker with a short film featured in PAPER MAG. She was a finalist for Rattlestick Theater’s Terrence McNally New Works Incubator Fellows and the Princess Grace Awards. As a co-host of the podcast “Movies vs. Capitalism,” Rivka explores the intersection of storytelling and socio-political themes. A graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia H.S. for Performing Arts and Carnegie Mellon University, Rivka’s work has continuously engaged audiences with its rich and complex explorations of human experiences. She is a member of the Conch Shell Artist Collective of Caribbean Diaspora Writers, the Irondale Ensemble, and the [Re] Verse Writer’s Group.
Page Clements
Page Clements is a Reader’s Choice Winner in Backstage for her work as a vocal and dialect coach. She is on staff at T. Schreiber Studio, where she teaches Shakespeare, Dialects, Accent Reduction, and Vocal Production. Page has been an adjunct vocal instructor at the Larry Singer Studios, Lycoming College, and Marywood University, as well as a private coach for actors and public speakers. As an actress, she has performed in over 60 productions in the New York City area, including shows at the Roundabout Theatre Co., the NY Shakespeare Exchange, the Metropolitan Playhouse, and the Phoenix Theatre Ensemble. She has been the vocal/dialect coach for many productions, including Ted Greenberg’s one-man show, Ace, in its 5-week Off-Broadway run. As a director, Page made her United Solo directing debut in 2017 with the thought-provoking Blood and Water and in 2018 with Velvet Determination, which received the Best Festival Debut Award. Other directing credits include Lucy Avery Brooke’s solo show, Ekphrasis, and the one-act play, No Soap!, at the T. Schreiber New Works Festival in 2017. www.pageclements.com
Bill Coelius
Bill Coelius has been a working actor for over 15 years and counting. Bill has booked over 50 national commercials and appeared in numerous television shows, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Criminal Minds, Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, The Office, Desperate Housewives, Law and Order, and American Horror Story: Hotel, where his throat was slashed by Lady Gaga, a career highlight so far. His movies include Taking Woodstock directed by Ang Lee and Brave New Jersey with Tony Hale. He teaches acting in New York, Los Angeles, Portland, and Detroit.
Jeff Dreisbach
Jeffrey Dreisbach received his BFA degree from Wayne State University in Michigan. He studied Theatre Performance in London and subsequently moved to New York where he accumulated theatre, film and television credits for over 20 years. Notable performances include film roles in Splash, Die Hard 3, The Thomas Crown Affair. For TV, Jeffrey was Norman Van Buren in the soap opera, Another World and appeared in many television commercials and voice over's. His last Broadway appearance was as Lt. Kendrick in Aaron Sorkin's A FEW GOOD MEN which he performed over 500 times. Jeffrey joined McCorkle Casting as a casting partner 10 years ago and has contributed to Broadway, Off-Broadway, Film and Television casting. McCorkle casting has cast over 50 Broadway and 60 Off Broadway productions, 65 feature films and countless television projects. His book on Voice-overs, Conversation Pieces Out of the Studio, is currently being used in several BFA and MFA training programs for actors. Jeffrey is the podcast host of "Casting Actors Cast" The podcast for actors to learm more about the business. It is heard weekly around the world with over 12,000 downloads and can be found on any podcast provider.
James Wagner
James trained at the American Conservatory Theatre (MFA Acting) and UC Santa Barbara (BFA Acting). His career bridges performance and teaching – blending professional experience with a commitment to integrative actor training.
In addition to acing, James has been teaching and coaching for over two decades. He has taught at The American Conservatory Theatre, The Berkeley Rep School of Theatre, New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, and privately in Los Angeles and New York.
K. Lorrel ManningDesigner
K. Lorrel Manning is an award-winning writer, director, actor and musician. His solo show, Lost…Found will make its international premiere in Summer 2024 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. His first feature film,Happy New Year, premiered in competition at the South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) in 2011. The film, adapted from Manning's one-act play and award-winning short film of the same name, has screened at over two dozen film festivals around the world and was officially released by Snag Films in 2013. Recently, he directed The Red Shoe, a short film, and is in heavy development with his second feature, Sheila & the Punk Rock. Manning holds an MFA in Film from Columbia and a BFA in Drama from the University of Georgia. In addition to his classes at T. Schreiber Studio, he teaches screenwriting, filmmaking, and advanced scene study at Sarah Lawrence College. He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
