On-camera 1 is ideal for both experienced actors transitioning from the theatre to the screen and for newer actors looking to improve their on-camera performance. This class covers everything you need to know to successfully audition for film/TV projects and bring your characters to life on set. Each actor will work in every class on assigned film & TV sides.

Are a theatre actor transitioning to Film or TV.
Have some on-camera experience but want to feel more confident in front of the camera.
Want to learn to connect more honestly with your characters.

Karina Arroyave

Karina Arroyave is best known for her role as ‘Karla Cordova’ in season 7 of “ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK.” Most recently she can be seen as James Spader’s love interest ‘Mierce Xiu’ in season 9 of “THE BLACKLIST”, FX’s “A MURDER AT THE END OF THE WORLD” and the upcoming film THE REUNION. Other TV credits include playing ‘Jamey Farrell’ in 24, FBI: MOST WANTED, LAW & ORDER: SVU, CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS, BULL, THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA, BLUE BLOODS, NYPD BLUE, LAW & ORDER, THE PRACTICE, JUDGING AMY, CHICAGO HOPE, TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL, WITHOUT A TRACE and AS THE WORLD TURNS. Bill Coelius

Bill Coelius

Bill Coelius has been a working actor for over 15 years and counting. Bill has booked over 50 national commercials and appeared in numerous television shows, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Criminal Minds, Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, The Office, Desperate Housewives, Law and Order, and American Horror Story: Hotel, where his throat was slashed by Lady Gaga, a career highlight so far. His movies include Taking Woodstock directed by Ang Lee and Brave New Jersey with Tony Hale. He teaches acting in New York, Los Angeles, Portland, and Detroit.
