For over 40 years the T. Schreiber Studio has provided a safe and supportive training ground for aspiring and working actors in theatre, film, and television. Our mission is to support and advance the art of acting through rigorous training, industry partnerships, and award winning professional productions. We are committed to training young actors with the same professionalism and creativity that has been the hallmark of our adult program. YOUNG ADULT CONSERVATORY FOR THEATRE AND FILM Winter Term: TBA Spring Term: TBA Ages 14-17 The Studio offers a 2-term Conservatory for the beginning and professional young actor. Creativity, imagination, and instinct along with the foundations of technique are fostered in a noncompetitive yet rigorous environment. Through exercises and scene work, onstage and in front of the camera, the young actor develops the craft and art of acting. FIRST TERM Offered Winter , Spring and Fall $725 8 WEEKS ON SATURDAYS, 10:30-4:00 Incorporates an intensive, hands-on approach to acting, voice, movement, and ensemble work that cultivates free and open young actors who can trust their instincts because they are supported by concrete tools and techniques. Classes: Acting Technique, Voice, Movement, Ensemble work  SECOND TERM Offered in Winter, Spring and Fall $725n8 WEEKS ON SATURDAYS, 10:30-4:00 The young actor who is now working freely and instinctively begins applying the techniques of the first term to scene work both onstage and in front of the camera. The Conservatory concludes with a performance of scenes for family, friends, and faculty. NEXT INFORMATION SESSION: Monday, December 12th at 5:45pm Information sessions are held on Monday evenings at 5:45pm. If you are interested in learning more about us, the next step is to attend an information session. Offered weekly and led by Terry Schreiber, these sessions will provide you with the detailed information you will need to decide if the T. Schreiber Studio is right for you. Attendance at one of these sessions is required in order to enroll in an on-going class. Please be on time. After attending the information session, if you are interested in intermediate or advanced classes, you will then schedule a personal audition with Terry Schreiber. An interview is required for beginning classes. The acting program at the T. Schreiber Studio combines scene study with exercise work on beginning, intermediate, and advanced professional levels. We are committed to helping each actor develop and strengthen his/her skills to know how to work, to become capable of getting work, and most of all, to excel in his/her work. Auditing of classes is not permitted. All new students are subject to a one-time non-refundable $75.00 registration fee. All class fees and deposits are non-refundable. Tuesdays 2:00-5:00 pm Fee: $375/6 classes ($300 w. scene study technique)

This six-session workshop teaches the actor the best way to audition for voice-over commercials and the essential ingredients to get the voice-over gig. Each actor is recorded with in depth evaluation in each class and specific work includes the audition process, how to cast yourself, narration vs. natural, character voices, scoring the text, looping, and examples of successful demos. Final takes will be done in a recording studio. A raw demo of all your class work will be provided at the end of the course. Open to all levels. Interview Required. Instructor: Jeffrey Dreisbach

Jeffrey Dreisbach uses his 20+ years experience as a voice artist/actor to teach the essential ingredients of getting the voice-over job.
