This seven-week workshop gives students the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most successful commercial acting teachers. Showcase with a casting director in the last class of the session.
John Howard Swain has starred in 200 national commercials. He has also directed and produced commercials and knows what the actor needs to do, what the director is looking for and what the client wants when it comes to booking the job. The workshop provides each student, whether new to the business or a seasoned actor, with a set of skills that takes the guesswork out of the commercial audition process.
His students have booked over 7,500 jobs
John is a working actor – he shot a spot on Wednesday – what he’s teaching isn’t theory
“I just booked my forty-fifth commercial (most of them nationals). I still use the techniques I learned from John.” S. Santiago
“When working with John, his experience and expertise becomes immediately apparent. He really does turn commercial acting into a science and I’m grateful for the knowledge!” Micah C.
