Shakespeare/ Vocal Production/ Dialect Page Clements is an actress and private coach in New York City. She received her BFA in acting from Wesleyan College in Georgia, where she also received the Wesleyan Woman of the Year award her graduation year. She furthered her training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts / New York, receiving the Lawrence Langner Award and the Charles Jehlinger Award for speech and acting respectively. She was invited to attend a third year in the Repertory Company, receiving the school’s first Neil Simon Foundation Scholarship. She served as an Associate Professor of Voice and Speech at AADA for 10 years and was one of the original members of The Metropolitan Playhouse of New York. One of Page’s fortes as a teacher is creating as well as reducing regional and foreign dialects. Her work infuses styles of Patsy Rodenburg (with whom she studied), Kristin Linklater, and her own. She co-founded Highwire, Inc. a theatre company created to bring professional productions and actor-led workshops to universities and colleges across the country. In 2009, she was awarded two Backstage Readers’ Choice Awards: Favorite Vocal Coach and Favorite Dialect Coach. She was voted Runner-Up for both awards again in both 2010 and 2011. As an actress, Page has appeared in over 50 productions in theatres across the country and is a member of Actors Equity Association.
