Peter Miner

Peter Miner  – (May 3, 1930 – March 26, 2020) was a beloved master teacher at T. Schreiber Studio for over 30 years specializing in on-camera technique.  Many of his students have gone on to successful careers in film and television including Emmy Award winning actress Julia Garner.

Peter directed One Life to Live for 20 years, was awarded two Emmys, and received eight Emmy nominations. He produced Dark Shadows and Hey Cinderella featuring Jim Henson’s puppets and aired the first Marvel animated series, Spider-Man.  He wrote and directed numerous short films, and directed Off-Off Broadway and regional theatre. Teaching and mentoring actors and directors was a passion and a calling throughout his career,  Working with his wife Diane, he joyfully dedicated his heartfelt focus to this role developing a loving and talented following.   We will miss him.
