Betty Buckley is now offering her Broadway Song and Monologue Master Class ONLINE, giving actors and singers the opportunity to work with her from anywhere in the world. Betty's emotional connection to songs and audiences is renowned, and that very connection is at the heart of what she imparts to her students. Betty Buckley focuses on the art of storytelling through monologue choices and theatrical songs to reignite your audition materials. Class includes meditation and mindfulness techniques before moving on to individual work.

Betty Buckley is a legendary, multi-award-winning actress/singer whose career spans theatre, film, television, and concert halls around the world. Theatre Hall Of Fame Honoree Betty Buckley has starred in countless shows on Broadway and beyond, including Hello Dolly, Sunset Boulevard, Gypsy, Grey Gardens, and Cats, for which she won a Tony Award. Ms. Buckley tours in concert worldwide with her ensemble of musicians and was recently featured in the Royal Albert Hall concert of Follies in celebration of Stephen Sondheim’s 85th birthday.

The Song and Monologue Workshop online is ongoing. You may re-enroll as space allows in an alumni class to continue developing your work.

  • You may APPLY/ENROLL as a Full Participant or as an Observer.
    Full participants will work on EITHER a song OR monologue throughout the workshop.
    • Full Participant – You’re ready to work with a Broadway Legend!
      As a Full Participant, you will have the opportunity to work on an individual song or monologue. Taped accompaniment must be provided. (Must apply online.)
    • Observer – Want to learn but don’t feel ready to perform for Betty?
      As an Observer, you will observe individual work and participate in all group exercises and meditations.
