Technology has changed the way agents and casting directors do business. Knowing how to put together a “self tape” as your audition tape is now an essential skill for booking jobs. Thankfully, with advances in cellphone camera technology, under the right guidance, you can learn how to record and submit a high-quality self-tape audition with your own smartphone or tablet.
In this Self-Tape Audition Workshop, Casting Director Jeffrey Dreisbach (McCorkle Casting) will show you how to prepare, shoot and submit theatre, film and TV auditions using your cellphone, tablet, or laptop. Having viewed hundreds of video submissions himself, he will be able to help you find the most effective ways to show off your best performance.
Most importantly, this class will include your own audition that you perform shoot and view using your own device. Don’t miss out on this essential skill set taught by a casting professional who books real talent from actor-submitted videos.

Jeffrey Dreisbach began his career as an actor accumulating Broadway, Film and Television credits for over 20 years. Additionally, he found success in TV commercials and Voice-over’s. Jeffrey now conducts workshops and lectures on film audition techniques, Acting techniques for better presentations, voice overs and career development using the performing arts techniques at several colleges and universities. Currently, Jeffrey has been a casting partner at McCORKLE CASTING, LTD.
