“The 21st Annual Tony Awards Viewing Party, which was held June 11 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, raised $225,000 for the Actors Fund.
Tony winner Betty Buckley, recently seen in the M. Night Shyamalan film Split, was honored with the Julie Harris Award for Artistic Achievement at the annual celebration, which was hosted by Bryan Batt. Buckley and Batt previously shared the stage in the West Coast debut of Grey Gardens as well as the original Broadway production of Sunset Boulevard.
The event featured red carpet arrivals, a cocktail hour, gala dinner, live performances, a silent auction, and the West Coast’s exclusive live feed of the 2017 Tony Awards broadcast from New York City.”
