On February 5, 2001, the T. Schreiber Studio honored Mary-Louise Parker (currently starring in the Pulitzer-Prize winning Proof) and Gerald Schoenfeld (chairman of The Shubert Organization, Inc.) with the 2001 Outstanding Achievement Award at The Supper Club in New York City.
Studio alumni Edward Norton, Julie Halston (our emcee) and Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde) were there with TSS teacher Betty Buckley to help celebrate our 32nd year. Tony Randall, Daryl Roth, Anne Jackson and Eli Wallach paid tributes to our honorees. Entertainment included TSS student Kimilee Bryant (Phantom of the Opera) singing “Somewhere” and Michele Lee brought down the house with a surprise rendition of “I Believe in You” from How to Succeed in Business!
