The T. Schreiber Studio’s 2002 Outstanding Achievement Award was presented to theatre legend Marian Seldes by the studio’s 2001 honoree, Mary-Louise Parker, at our 4th Annual Awards on Monday, February 11, 2002.

There to cheer her on were Anne Jackson and Eli Wallach (the studio’s 2000 honorees), Kate Burton, Cherry Jones, Ira Levin, Farley Granger and Tony Randall. The event was hosted by TSS alumna Julie Halston at the Lotos Club in New York City.

Ms. Seldes extraordinary career spans more than 50 years in the New York theatre. She was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame in 1996. She won the Tony Award for her performance in Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance. In addition, she has won Drama Desk and Obie awards. This season she appeared on Broadway in Neil Simon’s 45 Seconds from Broadway.
