All the world’s a stage, if you want to play a Shakespearean part upon it, there’s no better teacher of the verse than our very own Page Clements. In addition to her award-winning voice and dialect work, she also helps actors speak the speech trippingly on the tongue in both her Shakespeare Monologue and Shakespeare Scene Study class.
In the Barton Patron Path, Page will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how actors approach the dynamic works of Shakespeare. Jump in and try the work for yourself in Page’s six-week Shakespeare Monologue Class (open to beginners). Watch iconic scenes from Shakespeare’s plays in a curated evening of selected work from Page’s advanced students. And of course, watch a Spring Workshop of As You Like It in order to immerse yourself in the Bard’s works.
Becoming a Barton Patron is about celebrating your love of Shakespeare! You are not alone; we love Shakespeare too. Your gift will help us to produce more workshops of Shakespeare’s plays – giving our students and audience the opportunity to keep exploring these wonderful texts and characters.
