Glenn Alterman (Playwright)- is the author of 29 theater related book, including 10 books of original monologues.  He is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records and RecordSetter.com as “The Author of The Most Published Original Actors For Actors”. His plays have won The Arts and Letters Award In Drama, The Julio T. Nunez Arts Grant, The Bloomington Playwrights Project (Reva Shiner Award) and over 60 other playwriting competitions and been an Actors Theater of Louisville finalist 5 times.  His work has been performed or received honors and awards at Circle In The Square (Downtown), Primary Stages, Playwrights Horizons, LaMama, Beverly Hills Rep, Pittsburgh New Works Festival, Circle Rep., HERE Theater, Weissberger Competition (New Dramatists), Deep South Writers Conference, Showtime’s Act One Playwrights Contest, The Samuel French One-Act Playwrights Competition, The West Bank Café Downstairs Theater, and at many other theaters all over the U.S. and throughout Europe. www.Glennalterman.com

David Hausman (Director)- actor, writer, producer, and now director.  David is honored and thrilled to be making his directorial debut at Terry Schreiber Studio, as nurturing and professional an environment as one could want.  David has appeared in television, film and Broadway.  He formed Durian Productions which shot a SAG short being submitted to festivals.  His first love is Shakespeare, portraying roles as varied as Puck and Petruchio.  He is an active member of The Shakespeare Society and The Shakespeare Forum.  He studied directing as a BFA Drama undergraduate with Francis Hodge and more recently, Terry Schreiber.  His thanks go out to his cast and everyone at T. Schreiber Studio for their invaluable help and support.

Steven Jones (He)- After twenty years, Steven is returning to the theatre and is thrilled to be working at the Studio, where he is a student of Terry Schreiber.  His roles have ranged from Alexi the Dog at the Living Theatre and You Can’t Take It With You (Ed) to Julius Caesar (Brutus) and Dancing at Lughnasa (Michael) at regional theaters.  He’s been in A Midsummer Night’s Dream four times (!) and was Nickelodeon’s “voice of Bill Clinton” for a few years.  He received a Northeast Regional Emmy for his work on Capelli & Company, a children’s show based in Pittsburgh.  

Kate Whitney (She)- (SAG-AFTRA, AEA) is a professional trained classical pianist who is returning to show business after a long hiatus. Prior experience includes roles on General Hospital and The Guiding Light plus numerous roles in the theatre. Her previous training was with Guy Stockwell, Ken McMillan and Carlin Glynn.  She belongs to Polaris North, a co-op of actors, directors and playwrights and is currently a member in John Howard Swain’s scene study class. Kate teaches at Greenwich House School of Music. She hails from U of Texas and USC and is very happy to be a part of T. Schreiber’s one-act festival.
