PHILIP J. KAPLAN (Playwright)- is the author of HOLLYWOOD MUSICALS: BEST, WORST AND MOST UNUSUAL. He has also been published in two volumes of Best Ten Minute Plays (Smith and Kraus). Jessica O’Hara-Baker (Director)- is an actor and director whose recent performance as Avery in the NJ premiere of Gina Gionfriddo’s Rapture Blister Burn was described by The New York Times as “genuinely exciting to watch.” She has directed several new works for the LAByrinth Intensive Ensemble readings, and she assisted directed The Shelter’s production of Cul de Sac at the Cherry Lane. Coming up next she’ll be playing Lilly in John Kolvenbach’s latest, Sister Play. Jessica is a company member of Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre and the producer and host of The Farm Theater’s Bullpen Sessions. Recent credits: Trapper at Fourth Street Theater@ NYTW (Todd), Lobby Hero at Roy Arias Theater (Jeff), Sabra at the Manhattan Theater Source (Ben), Dear Darkness at The New Ohio Theater (MC), Brecht’s The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui at Lerner Hall (Ernesto Roma) and As You Like It with King’s Crown Shakespeare Troupe (Oliver). Noam’s film credits include co-starring with the late Ryan Dunn in Living Will, a surviving character of the slasher Nobody Gets Out Alive, and Heaven is Waiting, acclaimed at the Cannes Festival. Molly Collier (Shelly)- graduated from Lycoming College with a B.A. in Theatre where she was a 5 time nominee for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship. She has studied physical theatre at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and completed the one year conservatory at T. Schreiber Studio. She recently was seen in I Know What Boys Want at the Lion Theatre- Theatre Row. Molly is a member of Articulate Theatre Company and was in their recent production of The Skin of Our Teeth. Molly currently works for Labyrinth Theater Company. She can be seen at The Duplex every second Tuesday of the month in the continuous reading series, Juliana.
