Pamela Scott

Conservatory/Scene Study/ Beginning Technique

Pamela Scott comes to T. Schreiber Studio from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts where she is currently on faculty and also directs. She is an alumnus of TSS, a graduate of AADA, and has studied with, and also assisted, Sandra Seacat. Pamela is the artistic director and founder of the Aching Dogs Theatre Company and teaches at The School for Film and Television. She has performed in NYC at the Public Theatre, West Bank Downstairs Theatre and The Irish Arts Center, among others. As a playwright, her 14 One Acts have been produced in NYC, LA and FL. Her play Daddy’s Boy was a winner in the Gold Coast Players Short Play Contest, and was recently selected for a workshop for PS-NBC (HERE) along with her play The Heist. Her play The Unwrapping of Christmas won the Columbia University Dramatist’s Alan Contini Award for Best New Play, and was subsequently produced at The Irish Arts Center in NYC, where she was an independent writing fellow. She is a member of the Actors Studio Playwriting Director’s Process Unit under the direction of Estelle Parsons and Arthur Penn. Pamela is currently working on several screenplays.
